  • We’re looking for a PrivacyManager to support the delivery of data protection and privacyrequirements for Commercial Banking
  • You’ll bemanaging relationships with stakeholders across the function tosupport the understanding of privacy and Data protection for thefair treatment of our customers
  • We’re offeringthis role for a period of 12months

What you'lldo

In this key role, you’ll besupporting the delivery of data protection and privacy requirementsfor Commercial Banking, with a focus on card acquiring and openbanking payments under the Tyl by NatWest and Payit brands We’lllook to you to ensure awareness of breaches and you’ll be designinga strategy to make sure activity is consistent with customerfairness outcomes while supporting the conduct riskagenda.

Throughout the course of your work,you’ll be working alongside colleagues in the Privacyteam.

You’ll alsobe:

  • Driving dataprotection and privacy requirements making sure they areinterpreted, implemented, and associated risks are minimised acrossCommercial Banking
  • Developing, implementing,and enforcing policies and procedures in accordance withregulations
  • Ensuring all business processes anddata exchanges adhere to policies andprocedures
  • Liaising with external bodies inconsultation with compliance on the accreditation and compliance ofcustomercommunications

Theskills you'll need

To besuccessful in this role you’ll need to have experience of thebanking industry, regulatory and commercial environment. You’ll need knowledge of relevant legal policies and regulationssuch as PECR, GDPR and DPA, alongside risk management withexperience in applying this knowledge as part of change programmeswithin banking, fintech, information technology or a paymentsenvironment.

You’ll alsoneed:

  • Evidence of strong stakeholdermanagement skills and the ability to influence seniormanagement
  • Strategic thinking skills and theability to simplify complex and conflicting tasks and policypositions, ensuring that these are effectively managed andcommunicated
