What will your responsibilitiesbe?
As a Senior Project Manager,you'll be working within the Kier Rail team, supporting them in thedelivery of our Willenhall to Darlaston project which will provideservices to Walsall, Wolverhampton and Birmingham
What will your day to day dutiesinclude?
- Responsiblefor the overall direction, coordination, implementation, andexecution of specific project measures to achieve projectsuccess.
- Managing costs and generating revenuewill be a key requirement of this role and you'll manage thedecision-making process by negotiating with all parties to ensurevalue for money.
- Lead a safety-first cultureacross the project.
- Client and stakeholdermanagement
- Lead and support the commercialteams in securing maximum sustainable value from contracts, and insettling subcontracts at a fair level reflective of thesubcontractor's price and performance.
What are welooking for?
- Relevantqualifications – degree level, or equivalent experience
- Strong Project Management skills with a goodunderstanding of Target Cost contracts.
- Havedemonstrable competence in a transportation related projectenvironment.
- Detailed understanding of the CDMand health and safety legislation.
