About the Role

As a Senior Technical Manager at Elis UK Limited, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Engineering team to achieve functional objectives that support the Site/Plant and Company Business Plan. You will work closely with the production team to continuously improve site overall equipment effectiveness, people development, and a lean culture. Your mission will be to ensure that the company's vision, values, and policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with the Berendsen Health and Safety Policy, national legislative requirements, and the safety and wellbeing of your team.
  • Plan, monitor, and ensure appropriate Engineering Team safety training is completed.
  • Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Ensure all plant property, equipment, and other assets are fit for purpose in compliance and Group standards and best practices.

Requirements
  • IT skills (email, all MS Office software including Project and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Financial knowledge covering trading statements.
  • Good analytical and decision making skills.
  • Communication skills (written and verbal).
