Food Technical Manager

Complex food, big Technical Manager role.


Our client is a well-established food manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to help lead the technical strategy for the Factory that has a strong and positive reputation in the marketplace and has good levels of investment.


As Technical Manager, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing food safety and quality standards. Your role will involve leading and motivating the technical team and fostering a culture of quality throughout the factory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Apply relevant standards to meet Customer, BRC, and legal requirements
  • Implement and maintain HACCP requirements, evaluating risks and defining controls for new processes, products, or raw materials
  • Oversee quality management systems to ensure production meets agreed safety and quality standards
  • Lead all Technical audits and managing responses to non-conformance reports


To be considered for this role you will need to have extensive experience in a quality or technical leadership role within food manufacturing and chilled complex food products, with a strong background in auditing, HACCP, and BRC. You will be passionate about food safety and quality and thrive in dynamic environments.
