Born in Yokohama, Chef Endo Kazutoshi is a third-generation sushi master, dedicated to the centuries-old Edomae style of sushi. Drawing inspiration from his father and grandfather, Endo seamlessly blends creativity and consistency, heritage, and innovation. At his debut restaurant, located on the top floor of the former Television Centre in White City, Chef Endo delivers a dining experience that is both immersive and intimate.
Position: Restaurant Manager
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to enhance the guest experience at ENDO at The Rotunda. This is more than just a management role; it's about embodying the spirit of 'Omotenashi' - the art of Japanese hospitality rooted in empathy and a spiritual exchange between host and guest.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience: Enhance and personalize the dining experience, ensuring each guest feels valued and leaves with memorable moments.
Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Team Leadership: Work closely with Chef Endo and the team to maintain the highest standards of service and quality.
Regular Guest Relations: Build and maintain relationships with regular guests, understanding their preferences and ensuring their expectations are consistently met.
Compliance: Ensure the restaurant adheres to all health and safety regulations and maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Presentation & Logistics: Manage the logistics of guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a seamless transition from the foyer to the restaurant via our private elevator.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in a high-end, fine dining environment with Michelin star credentials is required. The candidate must have a proven track record of elevating restaurant standards to the highest levels.
Background: Familiarity with Spanish or French cuisine is desirable.
Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
Passion: A genuine passion for creating outstanding dining experiences and a deep appreciation for culinary arts.
Legal Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the nature of the business.
