Inventory Controller - Galhampton, Yeovil 

£28,000 per annum plus annual performance bonus

40 hours per week, based onsite

Our Inventory Controller

Working alongside the Inventory Control Manager to manage our inventory and its accuracy, the Inventory Controller will be required to update our stock control systems to maintain accurate stock levels, receipt stock, perform regular inventory audits and analyses and forecast the supply and demand requirements to ensure consistent stock levels. You should be highly organised and have good knowledge of inventory management software and practices.

The role will manage inventory in both the Ecommerce and central Estate warehouses and work closely with the Product, Purchasing and Warehouse teams. Accurate inventory underpins our customer order fulfilment process and minimising stock variances will support achievement of our financial business plan for the year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet demand and minimise excess stock
  • Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Analyse inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for warehouse layout and picking improvement
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to optimise accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure data integrity between multiple inventory software systems
  • Write and update current Inventory SOP's relating to Inventory systems within Ecommerce
