**_ NAWSARH SLICT Sustainability Controller_**

**_ The Opportunity_**

We’re currently recruiting for a forward thinking and dynamic individual to join our team at Leonardo as a NAWSARH SLICT Sustainability Controller. As the NAWSARH SLICT Sustainability Controller, you’re prime purpose is to support the SLICT Manager with the future provision of material affecting aircraft availability and contract deliverables for the customer. Your key focus will be to monitor and review the fleet maintenance planning and the associated material for aircraft maintenance activity.

**_ What you’ll be doing as a NAWSARH SLICT Sustainability Controller;_**
- Highlight risks to aircraft output and/or availability and ensure solutions are provided to mitigate risks which may impact on time customer delivery and satisfaction
- Deputise for the Manager in their absence which may include, but not be limited to the coordination of a team of Availability Officers based within the team
- Forge strong working relationships with customers, senior management & relevant stakeholders ensuring material delivery issues are well communicated and proposed solutions are discussed and managed appropriately
- Influencing and Managing key internal relationships and ensuring priorities are set and managed in the material flow
- Representing Material Services department at specified customer reviews for your programme(s) and where required deputising for the Manager at other senior leaders
- Prioritise and allocate assets for manufacture within your own platform and, where applicable, agree priorities with other Managers. In these cases ensure impact analysis is completed and briefed to senior management
- Project manage key material activities such as RTW, Mod programmes and critical items, in advance of fleet requirements

**_ What we need from you;_**
- Proven, successful track record in logistics management within an aerospace environment
- In-depth Knowledge of Logistic and Material supply techniques
- Experience of managing complex and demanding commercial arrangements where service delivery, inventory management and financial responsibility are key elements
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills, required to form effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Ability to interface and influence at senior level within the customer and industry domains
- Excellent problem solving techniques able to be applied in an operational environment
- Good knowledge of the customers planning and operational methodologies, organisations and processes relating to material supply and inventory management
- Results driven to ensure solutions to material issues
