ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting two Social Media Manager roles which report into our Senior Marketing Managers and are responsible for executing the day-to-day management of our social strategy, one for Bamford and The Club by Bamford and the other for Daylesford Organic.

This role is critical to our growth, enhancing our positioning as aspirational lifestyle and wellness brands while attracting new customers and fostering engagement and loyalty. This role will also support content creation across our brands, capturing events and activations throughout the Daylesford Organic Farm site and collaborating with other members of the social team to produce content to meet briefs.

As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for carefully building and maintaining a strong online presence, creating meaningful connections with our target audiences, and gaining valuable feedback on our content strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy development: creating and implementing a comprehensive social media plan. This will include creating a Bamford/Daylesford Organic-specific content plan with clear recommendations on posting cadences, target audiences, content guidelines and creative that will best engage with our audience.
  • Social media management: managing and maintaining our social media accounts across all owned platforms (including, but not limited to, Meta and LinkedIn) including regular monitoring of comments, messages and UGC.
  • Content creation: collaborating with key stakeholders around the business (including key subject matter experts) to plan, develop and capture engaging and relevant content for the day-to-day output across our social channels. Supporting content across our brands where required and briefing.
  • Event coverage: regularly attending a host of varied events across our sites to capture content that engages new audiences with our values and stories. Covering panel talks, wellness, treatments, fitness and more. Occasional flexibility with your time is required to attend these events taking place in the evening or at the weekend.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with our marketing and content teams to ensure social posts are aligned with key seasonal wellness moments, NPD and theme launches, with consistent content across all customer touchpoints.
  • Audience engagement: working with Guest Services to interact with followers, customers, and stakeholders on social media platforms, ensuring they are responded to promptly and professionally in the brand social TOV.
  • Performance analysis: report weekly on social media metrics using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data driven decisions to optimise performance.
  • Social trend expert: stay obsessively on top of latest social media trends, algorithms and best practices. Staying abreast of competitor activity and industry trends to identify new opportunities.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

  • 3+ years' experience in social media marketing roles.
  • A genuine passion for social media and creative content.
  • Platform-first - an in-depth knowledge of all social media platforms and scheduling tools, building content that is platform-first to maximise branding and conversion.
  • Content producer - ability to shoot and edit UGC style content with strong attention to detail.
  • Video editing - knowledge of editing software required.
  • Creative - excel in creating eye-catching social content that will engage with our audience, achieving cut-through and positioning Bamford and The Club by innovatively and with maximum impact across channels.
  • Collaborator - able to work seamlessly with colleagues, including the Creative team, to achieve the best possible output from photoshoots for social media usage.
  • Multitasker - ability to multitask and prioritise multiple content requirements across the business.
  • Passion for wellness - an interest in holistic wellness, well-being trends and sustainable bath & body products and apparel.
  • Data - strong understanding of reporting and being able to use data to analyse performance and inform decisions.
