Whatyou'll do

As a Product Owner,you’ll be creating a strategy for your assigned product areas, andacting as the go-to person for information and updates on yourproduct area. What’s more, you’ll take ownership of the digitalroadmap and the definition, management and prioritisation of thedigital backlog.

You’ll alsobe:

  • Analysingresearch and data, talking to customers and reviewing featurerequests
  • Prioritising the squad backlog,deciding what gets worked on and in what order in consultation withthe cross-functional team andstakeholders
  • Splitting epics into detailed userstories and feature specifications in Jira for the team to pick upand build
  • Working with your Engineering Managerand  technology leads to set objectives for sprints and ensurethe quality of output, making sure that product governanceprocesses are adhered to, with a focus on risk and regulatorycompliance

Theskills you'll need

To join usin this role, you’ll need to have previous experience of working ina Scrum or Agile team. You’ll need a passion for understandingcustomer needs and a problem solving mentality. In addition, you’llbe able to conduct customer research, map out customer journeys andidentify opportunities.

You’llalso be expected tohave:

  • A successfultrack record of digital design, delivery andoperations
  • An understanding of  smallbusiness customers needs and how we can serve themdigitally
  • A technical background with afundamental understanding of product, software development andUX
  • An understanding of technologies acrossmobile, web and APIs
