Host Palm Court

The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Host in our Palm Court lounge. The dazzling Palm Court is famed as the place where the tradition of afternoon tea was born over 150 years ago. In this role, we are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.

As a Host, your main role will be to:

  • provide a warm welcome and engage with all guests
  • ensure that all guests are met and seated at the lounge in a timely and efficient manner
  • ensure the Host desk is set for service everyday
  • process accurate billing for guests
  • provide guests with full information of the offering in Roux at The Landau
  • take accurate reservations

Do you have? -

  • warm, confident and welcoming personality
  • excellent interpersonal skills, engaging with our guests
  • ability to manage and prioritise
  • ability to multi-task and assist on the floor when necessary
  • have working knowledge of Micros/Open Table
  • carry out administrative tasks when the need arises
