Ride Team Leader - Chertsey, Surrey

Job Type: Full Time - Seasonal (Fixed End Date)

What you'll bring to the team

In this role you will be a part of the team which plays a pivotal role in delivering a safe and fun experience for millions of guests on THORPE PARK Resorts world class attractions. You will play a part in supervising and training the team that work on our family friendly rides such as Flying Fish, all the way up to our 205ft - 80mph launch coaster Stealth

Day to day you will  be effectively delivering and supervising front line staff as well as operating and hosting attractions. You will be dedicated to ‘park based’ operations; responsible for an allocated number of attractions per day to ensure staff welfare, efficient operations, presentation, and guest experience are kept to the highest standards. The main and most crucial part of this role will be training frontline staff on selected attractions in accordance to our CoSWPS and procedures, therefore a passion for detailed training and education is key.

Qualifications & Experience

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clear understanding of Health and Safety commitments within a visitor attraction
  • HSG175 and Theme Park Standards within UK.
  • Understanding of amusement ride devices
  • Policy and Procedure enforcement
  • Minimum of 6 months experience of working in an attractions department operating on amusement devices.
  • Experience of leading and motivating teams.
  • High level of motivation both self and in a team
  • Proficient in English language
  • Team Player
  • Lead and uphold required standards in moments of pressure and deliver good results
  • Interpersonal and relationship building skills within team and networking with other employees at the resort
  • Problem solving and decision making techniques
