We are currently recruiting for Seasonal Rides & Attractions Team Leaders for our 2023 season at THORPE PARK Resort
- Commercial experience of working in an attractions department operating amusement device.
- Clear understanding of Health and Safety commitments within a visitor attraction
- Understanding of amusement ride devices
- Policy and Procedure enforcement
- Experience of leading and motivating teams.
- High level of motivation both self and in a team
- Proficient in English language
- Team Player
- Lead and uphold required standards in moments of pressure and deliver good results
- Interpersonal and relationship building skills within team
- Problem solving and decision-making techniques

Our Rides and Attractions team play a pivotal role in delivering a safe and fun experience for millions of guests on Thorpe Park’s world class attractions. We have opportunities to work on our family friendly rides such as Dobble Tea Party, all the way up to our 205ft - 80mph launch coaster Stealth

As a team leader you will have had previous experience at Thorpe Park Resort as a Ride Operator and must be resort role models in delivering exceptional guest interactions at every opportunity. Day to day you will be supervising your given attractions, along with training staff when required. You will be supervising the staff who will be checking ride restraints, carrying out height checks, assisting guests on and off the rides, managing the queue lines, daily cleaning and being a part of an amazing team. This is a fast paced and active role which includes working outside and on weekends or during holidays according to our operational calendar.

Key objectives of the role include (but not limited to):
To train and assess a team of hosts and operators to work in accordance with the Code of Safe Working Practice (COSWP) and Generic COSWP.

Coaching and motivating allocated team of staff on designated rides on a daily basis to ensure efficient and guest obsessed operations. Also to support when required with recruitment of the seasonal team throughout the year.

To lead by example on the front line to ensure that the highest standards are delivered to our guests and to drive excellent customer service standards across the entire resort.

Carrying out routine H&S inspections and duties in accordance with site processes and procedures.
Managing and reducing downtime on attractions to ensure the best service for guests.
Deliver set targets based on department K.P.Is of cleanliness, utlilisation and downtime across all given attractions.
Trained as attraction evacuation team, involving working at height and using specialist equipment.

Assist Assistant Managers managing allocated team ensuring good and poor performance maintains to a positive standard.
