Location: On site inMidlands, South Yorkshire or Derbyshire

Contract: Permanent, FullTime – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired,just let us know

 

Responsibilities

As Commissioning Engineersthe primary purpose of the role is associated with the planning,executing and documenting of commissioning activities on projectsand programme of works in a safe manner, fully in accordance withthe Client and KIER processes, systems and procedures.

Your day to day will include:

  • Developing the Design Phase Commissioning Plan incollaboration with the Client commissioningrepresentatives.
  • Leading and documentingcommissioning meetings on a periodic basis to suit the specificstage of the project, with a HAZCOMM review at the commencement ofthe commissioning phase of each project.
  • Ensure that commissioning documentation is completed andavailable on the Common Data Environment, on a continuous basis, todemonstrate that testing requirements are fulfilled.
  • Mark up drawings and documents that have been amendedduring the commissioning process and uploading as the basis for thefinal versions to be issued at completion.
  • Leading the reliability and performance testing stage ofthe project including the production and acceptance of inspectionsand test plans.
  • Assisting the Project Managerin the resolution of post-completion defects.

 

Whatare we looking for?


This role of CommissioningEngineers is great for you if you have:

  • Experience in the successful and safecommissioning of complex projects within the waterindustry.
  • Working knowledge of sewage andwater treatment processes, systems and typical M&E plant /equipment.
  • Ability to generate concise reportsas deliverables for the commissioning processes.
  • CSCS or ECS card in an appropriate discipline
