Whatyou'll do

As a Lead CloudNetwork Engineer, you’ll be designing and supportingour production cloud networking, working with teams on designs andfirewalls to make sure that bank security is maintained whilehelping achieve business objectives. You'll bedemonstrating DevOps technical practices, promoting technical andcultural change, mentoring, coaching teams. You'll also bedemonstrating how to measure, understand and visualise the flow anddelivery of value through the adoption of DevOps tools,technologies, techniques, patterns, and processes from inceptionthrough to technical implementation anddelivery.

You’ll alsobe:

  • Helpingto manage and run the Production Support team
  • Working with feature teams,platforms, domains and centre of excellence initiatives as activeengineers, practitioners, mentors and coaches, andsupporting them with any changerequests
  • Providing feedback thatbuilds on policies, standards, practices and associated DevOpstooling
  • Contributing to building the DevOpsengineering capability, culture and mind-sets within thebank
  • Making sure decisions made are based onrobust data, return on investment and value measures thatdemonstrate thoughtful and intelligent costmanagement

Theskills you'll need

We’relooking for someone with experience of portfolio management supportroles paired with knowledge of portfolio types. You’llneed to be proficient in AWS networkingcomponents such as transit gateways, route tables andVPC’s. You’ll also hold anappropriate portfolio management qualification such as Prince 2with Agile, Scrum, Agile or SAFe portfoliomanagement.

You’ll alsodemonstrate:

  • Anexpert background in tools such as MS Office, MSP, Planview, Oracleand SharePoint
  • Knowledge and experience ofportfolio management theories, models and practices, includingscaled Agile frameworks and Prince 2 methodologies, within an Agileor DevOps environment
  • Experience of managingcritical production systems with a deep understanding of networkingconcepts and principals
  • Experience of ahigh-level programming language such as Java, C#, Golang andJavaScript
  • An understanding of security groups,NACLs and firewalls
  • Experience with KubernetesCNI
