As a result of exponential global growth in the last 12 months and a desire to ensure that the HR function is equipped to meet the needs of an ever-changing employment landscape, they are currently seeking to appoint a HR Business Partner (EMEA) a strategic manufacturing site in the West Midlands.

This is a strategically important HR Business Partner opportunity (with hybrid working) that will enable you to make a significant positive impact and progress your career in an international environment; leading and supporting the delivery of the HR agenda in the UK and managing EMEA HR projects in conjunction with teams in Amsterdam (the EMEA HQ).

The Role:

  • Understand the goals and priorities of the business and provide helpful information, coaching and HR expertise to support the achievement of these goals.
  • Provide proactive support and accurate advice to employees and managers on questions about HR procedures, recruitment, employment law and employee relations
  • Build strong relationships with employees, managers and colleagues and collaborate on work place initiatives (Wellbeing, ergonomics etc) that enhance the work environment
  • Serve as a trusted partner and advisor on a variety of HR related issues at the UK manufacturing site, such as absence, termination process management, problem resolution and conflicts - with a principle-based approach
  • Maintain policies, procedures and supplier contracts in line with current and evolving legislation, the business philosophy and long-term benefits
  • Analyse, assess, report and advise on the effectiveness and competitiveness of benefits programs via benefits broker. Provide and acquire information on benefits programs and align with stakeholders and implement execution (Pensions, Private Health Care, Income Protection, Group Life Insurance, Health Cashback Scheme etc) to manage risks
  • Responsible for legal templates, contract management, benchmarks and updating operational benefits outside of the Netherlands and UK

The Requirement:

  • Circa 6+ years’ experience in human resources; ideally possessing a degree in HR or Business, manufacturing experience and CIPD qualifications
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to influence & manage change and inspire trust at all levels
  • The ability to present and coach on values, principles and skills
  • A thorough knowledge & understanding of UK labour laws
  • Confident & resilient with the ability to take the initiative and collaborate
  • Exceptional communication, planning and organisational skills with the ability to travel occasionally to the EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam
