Situated in Shropshire packing award winning cheeses for our retail customers.
- Oswestry is a dedicated cheese packaging site.
- Cheese is delivered from UK & Arla’s Mainland Europe creamery's direct in to site.
- Cheese is packed in to a variety of packaging formats & loaded direct on to trailers
- Finished product is then despatched from Oswestry to regional distribution centres

**The role**

**An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Oswestry as a QEHS Team Leader reporting directly to the Senior QEHS Manager**

Key responsibilities will include:

- Develops and manages the QEHS function ensuring relevant certifiable standards/policies, customer demands, and legislation and local standards in a cost-conscious manner
- Leads the way and connects Arla Foods’ vision, mission, strategy and values to the tasks of the department and for their site
- Ensures that the site complies with Arla Foods’ standards and policies as well as the applicable legislation and customer requirements related to QEHS area including maintaining certificated standards
- Responsible for handling and resolving shopfloor-related QEHS challenges using lean principles
- Communicates, advises and complies with corporate and QEHS standards/policies, demands, and legislation in relation to national and local conditions.
- Applies Arla Foods’ management systems within own site and carries out internal audits.
- Contributes with QEHS knowledge in relevant projects both on-site, in business groups and with the Group QEHS team
- Responsible for leading, managing and developing their employees on the basis of Our Leadership and Our Character
- Continuously develops to acquire new knowledge in relation to QEHS and communicates this to their teams.
- Manages, develops, trains and coaches stakeholders in local QEHS themes.
- Ensures and documents high-quality analysis (reference materials and proficiency tests).
