Responsibilities

 

AsSite Agent, you'll be responsible forthe supervision of site activities and workforce on capitalprojects within the water industry, working on upgrade andresilience of wastewater treatment sites with focus initially onLudlow Wastewater Treatment works in Shropshire. You'll be key inensuring the site achieves required project delivery objectiveswhilst maintaining H&S, quality, environmental impact and costcontrol.  

 

Your day to day willinclude:

  • Lead ateam of subcontractors to deliver the work safely withoutenvironmental incidents, and to the specified quality
  • Ensure implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITP's andapproval of supply chain RAMS plus other Safe Systems of Works,when specified, in line with Company procedures
  • Input and awareness of construction programme and workingalongside the project planner and Project Manager
  • Delivery of site inductions, issuing of permits/forms anddaily briefings (including toolbox talks) and record keeping (e.gsite diaries and quality records)
  • Undertakingweekly site audits and documenting and issuing RFI's incollaboration with the project manager
  • Chairsite meetings and report weekly to the project manager on siteprogress

 

What are we lookingfor?

 

This role of Site Agent isgreat for you if you hold:

 

  • Extensive experience in the constructionindustry
  • Substantial knowledge of contractconditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and RiskManagement and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, andvalue reporting
  • Good knowledge in producing,reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for task specificactivities
  • CSCS Card

 

What are welooking for?

This roleof Site Agent is great for you ifyou have:

 

  • Experience within the water industry or another processorientated industry with a civilsbackground and knowledge ofMEICA)
  • Working knowledge of contractconditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and RiskManagement and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, andvalue reporting
  • Good knowledge ofspecifications and testing regimes relevant to general civilengineering
  • Experiencemanaging subcontractors value greater than £1m
  • Knowledge of NEC forms ofcontract
