ABOUT US

THE ROLE

Additionally, they will be responsible for communicating the findings and evidence generated by our research to a broader audience.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave.

THE CANDIDATE
You are highly qualified, preferably with a higher degree or PhD in conservation, ecology, environmental, or biological sciences. You possess a deep understanding of UK conservation and environmental issues, especially those related to native trees, woods, and wildlife, coupled with a strong commitment to their preservation. Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to convey complex scientific ideas effectively to diverse audiences. You ae a proficient collaborator and networker with a track record of developing and sustaining partnerships, as well as being skilled in creating efficient systems and processes.

WHAT TO EXPECT BY JOINING A TEAM AND MAKING A DIFFERENCE

OUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
At the Woodland Trust, we want to reflect and represent the full richness of diversity in the UK. Fewer of our employees are Black, Asian or minority ethnic; disabled; from lower socio-economic backgrounds or under 25, so we are particularly keen to receive your application if you are from one or more of these groups. We can also discuss anything you may need to achieve your full potential at any stage of the process. We assess your application solely on your demonstrated suitability for the job. Nothing else.
