Business Development Manager role at a US law firm aligned to their European Litigation and Restructuring practice groups. London based. Hybrid working. Up to £85,000.
This US law firm is looking for a Business Development and Marketing Manager to head up their Litigation and Restructuring groups in London and Europe. The role will report into the BD Director for Litigation in the US, but take ownership of the European jurisdiction. The role will also be supported by and line manage at least one BD Coordinator.
The role will work with around 48 lawyers across Europe, with the majority of the Restructuring team being based in London. The group is incredibly bought into BD, and need an experienced Manager to guide and advise them. The team want someone with ideas, who is keen on innovation.
The BD team are very friendly, and the firm as a whole have a really nice culture. Although they work closely with the US team, the European market is well established, so there is no need for working US hours.
Role duties:
- Developing BD strategies and business plans, acting as an adviser to the Partners and Lawyers; Project managing clients proposals, with the support of Pitch team members; Carrying out client research and spotting opportunities for the group; Line management of a BD Coordinator.
This role would suit a legal BD Manager, ideally from a comparable US law firm or international firm, who is looking for a new challenge. As the role works closely with the European offices, language skills are desirable.
