Hours of Work: 40 Hours - Monday-Friday 0800 - 1700

 

Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, this role is required to conduct and oversee all administrative functions within Peterhead Shared Services Team including control of documentation and verification of system transactions. Duties include:

 

  • To provide all aspects of administrative support to the Shared Services Team
  • Responsible for ensuring materials received, corresponds with delivery paperwork and that any discrepancies are investigated.
  • Ensure requests for materials are received, located and properly actioned in accordance with procedures and that the materials system is updated accordingly.
  • Deliver stock accuracy by operation of the materials system,
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within the Warehouse and operating areas.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained of all deliveries within each area of work to ensure that there is always an auditable trail.
  • Control of Documentation
  • Verification on ASCO Systems
  • Undertake Live Safe Interventions when appropriate.
  • Liaise with the internal and external personnel, as required, building effective working relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Work closely with the client team / internal departments to clearly understand their requirements.

  • Customer focused and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, both internal and external with a proven track record within an administrative role.
  • Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and in writing.
  • Ability to work stand-alone, demonstrating initiative and ownership, while a positive contributor to the wider team.
  • Motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and customer support, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite and a practical understanding of data entry and reporting applications, specifically in SAP.
  • Understanding of HSEQ legislation.

 

 


Minimum Qualifications                          

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.

SVQ3 Logistics Operations Management/Business Administration
