The Project Manager is responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources.
 

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Driving project accountability throughout the business
  • Participating in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions
  • Generating resource plans to deliver project schedules
  • Assessing project financial benefits, and approving projects based on the business case
  • Leading cross-functional project teams throughout the entire Project Life Cycle (PLC) in accordance with a stage gate process
  • Presenting projects schedules, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders and customers
  • Achieving the execution of program activities on time, within budget and maintaining product cost within target
  • Providing interim metrics/reports on program status including financial risks & opportunities and ensure proper archiving of program schedule/cost documentation
  • Providing leadership to more junior members of the team

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Have a degree in Engineering or Science or closely related field
  • Be comfortable working in a small team and be hands on producing plans for the execution of the projects
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyse complex issues and decompose these into a manageable set of tasks
  • Demonstrate experience of leading projects with global teams
  • Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to identify and solve problems
  • Be able to speak fluent English
  • Show excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
