RTL Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a major water treatment project in the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the construction site to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained.
- Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to ensure accurate setting out and mentor junior engineers as required.
- Develop and implement RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) to ensure safe working practices.
- Establish and maintain ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and MARs (Method and Risk Assessments) to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Work closely with the discipline supervisor to identify and procure necessary plant, labor, and materials.
- Review project drawings and specifications to identify errors and omissions, and communicate these to the project team via technical queries.
- Monitor project progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and maintain accurate records of resources and outputs.
- Communicate with the project team regarding non-conformances and contractual correspondence, and maintain comprehensive records of resources employed on additional works.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A civil engineering-related qualification (HNC, HND, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng).
- Proven experience in delivering complex structures and roadworks projects.
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.
- A relevant CSCS Card.
- CAT and Genny training.
- Other relevant training (Appointed Person, lifting training, temporary works coordination, and first aid/fire marshal).
- Extensive technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and forms of contract through formal training.
- Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, document control system, Primavera software).
