Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their small but busy Finance Team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Whether you have experience in finance, are looking to change your career path, or have just left full-time education and eager to start a career in finance, this opportunity is fantastic.
No formal qualifications are needed - just a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the desire to grow and develop in the role. While previous experience in a busy office environment would be beneficial, full training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities
Manage the finance mailbox ensuring all incoming emails are dealt with in a timely manner, liaising with suppliers and colleagues to resolve queries.
Process all incoming invoices from suppliers, ensuring approvals and coding are correct.
Ensure all invoices are posted in the accounts within month end deadlines.
Process invoices paid by direct debit.
Reconcile supplier statements.
Support the preparation of the weekly supplier payments for the review in accounts software and import to bank. Send remittances to suppliers to confirm payments made.
Support purchasing team in ad-hoc purchasing.

No formal qualifications required
IT literate, excel skills would be advantageous
