Role Overview:

As an Apprenticeship Progress Coach, you will work closely with the Team Leader to support the development of our future workforce across various construction disciplines and across other areas of the work-based learning team. Your expertise will create excellent learning experiences in an environment that fosters innovation, ambition, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tailored Support: Identify and execute strategies for learner support, ensuring clear communication with learners, subject teachers, parents, guardians, and employers.
  • Coaching & Facilitation: Provide coaching and facilitate skills support to ensure apprentices successfully complete their End-Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Tripartite Reviews: Conduct necessary reviews with the apprentice's line manager and the apprentice for EPA success.
  • Caseload Management: Manage an assigned caseload, ensuring performance targets are achieved.
  • Pastoral Support: Offer pastoral support to apprentices, advising on matters like mitigating circumstances and extensions.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with employers and apprentices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of current issues in apprenticeships.
  • Full driving license with the willingness and ability to travel across the North West.
