Prepare for an immersive journey into the heart of technology As an apprentice, you won't just be pushing buttons; you'll be pushing boundaries. Dive headfirst into a realm of cutting-edge projects, where your ideas mater, your skills evolve, and your potential knows no bounds. You will be involved in security processes such as password resets, creating and implementing group policies, taking helpdesk calls, picking up tickets and much more. Throughout your journey you will be supported by the Head of IT as well as a specialist coach from Baltic Apprenticeships to guide you every step of the way

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

**A Typical Day in the Job**:

- You will be involved in security processes such as password resets, creating and implementing group policy objects and MFA configuration
- You will be taking helpdesk calls, picking up tickets, escalating issues and pulling reports from 365
- You will provide a variety of technical documentation including security policies, technical specifications, policies and procedures and network diagrams
- You will configure and upgrade SSD, routers, switches and hardware devices to increase storage and make them run quicker
- Install, configure and upgrade operating systems such as Windows 10 to 11 and set permissions on Office 365

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

**Salary, Hours** **&** **Benefits**:

- £21,132 per annum
- Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm
- 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays
- On-site parking

**Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge**:

- A strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- A passion for IT
- Grade 4/C in Maths and English GCSE or Functional Skills L2
