Applications are invited for a fixed-term Senior Clinical Fellow (ST3-5) post in the Accident & Emergency Department at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.

This post is a 12 month fixed term contract to support individuals in their training and specialism within ED with an expectation your competencies with particular relation to an Emergency Medicine training path will be achieved and demonstrated within this fixed term period. This will be set with you at the beginning of your term with us.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will be an apart of the Registrar rota and attend their departmental teaching programme sessions.

The candidate will be allocated an Educational Supervisor for their time within the department.

The candidate will be encouraged to develop a specialist interest to compliment the existing interests of the department. The candidate will be expected to engage in continuing professional development, teaching, audit, and administrative duties.

Applicants must have full GMC registration with a licence to practice and shall have completed a minimum of 4 years of postgraduate training or equivalent experience, including at least 2 years' experience in the Emergency Department.

These appointments are to the Trust, not to specific hospitals. Our Trust footprint currently includes Cromer Hospital (25 miles from NNUH).
