Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Fertilizer Business Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fertilizer industry, strong relationships with producers and buyers, and a proven track record of business development and sales. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth, expand market presence, and contribute to the success of thei trading operations.

Responsibilities:
Identify and cultivate relationships with fertilizer producers, suppliers, and buyers to expand our network and secure new business opportunities. Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow sales volumes and revenue in the fertilizer trading segment. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and buyers to maximize profitability and mitigate risk. Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth execution of trades and timely delivery of products. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks in the fertilizer market. Provide market insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of fertilizer products, market dynamics, and supply chain logistics. Proven track record of successfully developing and closing business deals, meeting sales targets, and driving revenue growth. Strong network of contacts within the fertilizer industry, including producers, suppliers, traders, and buyers. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
