Would you like a job supporting people with mental health issues to stay within their communities?  Then consider these roles – both Support Time and Recovery Workers – one full-time working in the Central Manchester Team and one part-time working in South Manchester.  They are important roles within busy teams.  You would be employed by Manchester Mind but you would be based within the team.

Manchester Mind wishes to appoint to the following posts:

Position: Support Time and Recovery Worker

Location:Central West Team in Hulme

Hours:  37 hours per week

Salary:£23,765 p.a.

Holiday: 28 days per year + bank holidays

And

Position: Support Time and Recovery Worker

Location: South Team based in Withington/West Didsbury

Hours:  18.5 hours per week

Salary: £23,765 p.a. (pro rata £11,882.50 actual)

Holiday: 28 days per year + bank holidays (pro rata)

Supporting people in their journey to recovery is an integral part of this job. To ensure that this happens we are looking for a creative, innovative people with excellent engagement skills and a positive and collaborative approach to working with people.

You will need to be a team player but also not afraid to take the lead when needed and we are looking for you to have experience working with people with mental health needs. Experience of using mental health services will be an advantage. Successful applicants will be able to show that they can maintain a positive approach to providing recovery-focused support to service users, and have the ability to inspire hope in service users at all times.
