Sister/Charge Nurse-IVF

Shift times: Monday – Friday with rotational Saturdays ( to cover opening hours of 8am-6pm )

We’re looking for a Sister/Charge Nurse to join our IVF team at The Lister Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.  
  
You will be responsible to support the Matron and Deputy Nurse Manager in the smooth running of the clinic and supervise junior nursing staff.  Assist couples undergoing fertility treatments and be responsible for implementing and monitoring patient treatment cycles. Maintain effective communication channels between patients, staff and satellite services. Maintain the highest standard of clinical practice and patient care. 
 
The Lister Fertility Clinic, based at the main hospital site, is widely recognised as one of the leading fertility centres in the UK. Since opening in 1988, it has consistently maintained its reputation as being one of the most successful IVF clinics in the country. 
   
The Lister Hospital and its outpatient centres are located in the heart of Chelsea and have consistently provided care and treatment in London for over 30 years. We offer access to leading consultants from London's top teaching hospitals and contemporary treatment, with several highly specialised units including fertility, gastroenterology and cardiology.    
  
With 57 beds across three floors, we offer a specialised service, bespoke to our patient’s needs. Our six-bed critical care unit provides dedicated specialised care to seriously ill patients with a range of surgical or medical conditions. The Medical Ward is a 13-bedded Ward caring for predominantly Medical patients and occasionally Surgical.

What you’ll bring:   
 NMC Registered  
ENB 225 (gynae course) 
Counselling course 
ENB 998 Teaching and Assessing 
Previous experience in IVF setting 
Ultrasound experience is desirable
