Senior Business Development Manager (Commercial Solar PV)

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a track record in the Solar industry who is keen on joining a company that is exceeding its current growth targets.


On offer is a Senior Business Development Manager role which would suit a goal driven individual who takes the initiative on tasks and is able to work independently whilst also being able to communicate with other areas of the business. The role would mainly include selling Solar PV Installations to clients within the commercial solar sector, this includes meeting with clients face to face and being a spokesperson for the business.


The company specialises in commercial scale Solar PV and are now looking to expand their team due to continued growth. They have significant goals of becoming a leading installer across the UK and are keen for the right candidate to bring a similar amount of ambition to the role.


The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in selling to businesses, as well as significant experience in selling within the Solar PV Industry. They will be forward thinking and be willing to travel throughout Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and some of the Midlands to meet clients to understand their requirements.


This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to take the step up in their career within a Senior role and have the opportunity to progress their career whilst also increasing their earnings along the way.


The role:

  • Meeting with clients face to face and virtually who may be interested in Solar PV Installation within their business
  • Generate leads for the business via networking and/or other methods
  • Liaising with other sectors and with other senior people within the business to ensure projects expectations are within remit


The Person:

  • 5 years' experience in selling Solar PV
  • B2B Sales experience
  • Willing to travel to Midlands if and where required
