Position Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and committed Estate Caretaker to oversee the daily maintenance and care of their public estates in Liverpool. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that these properties remain safe, attractive, and functional for public use.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections of public estate grounds, buildings, and amenities.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as landscaping, gardening, and minor repairs.

- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance or repairs as needed.

- Manage and upkeep equipment, tools, and supplies necessary for estate maintenance.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the properties.

- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and address them efficiently.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in estate maintenance, property management, or a related field is advantageous.

- Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks, including landscaping, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, is preferred.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work both independently and within a team.

- Proactive problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Benefits:

The rate on offer will be £14.75 P/H.

The contract will run for a short term on-going contract to cover an employee currently taking long leave.
