The business very much has a family feel to it and would make for an excellent place for an ambitious accountant to develop their career.
As a result of recent growth a Management Accountant is now required to join the team, assisting the Finance Director and departmental managers in executing the strategic plan. A key part of the role will involve improving business processes and developing the financial reporting system to deliver daily, weekly and monthly financial information. The main responsibilities of the Management Accountant will be:
Preparation of the management accountsProducing KPI and flash reports for SLTReviewing processes and controlsImproving systems and reporting toolsAssisting with budgets and forecastsVariance analysisManaging cash flow
In order to be successful in this role you must be an analytical thinker, able to multi-task and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or Management Accountant will be essential in this role and you must be competent using Excel in addition to finance and business systems.
This will be an office based role initially although once up and running there could be a degree of flexibility for the right candidate. You will enjoy a range of attractive benefits including bonuses, staff discounts and free gym membership.
