Role Description


KS2 Classroom Teacher (mixed-age class) to start September 2024 – fixed term.

Dallington School is looking for an ambitious and talented KS2 teacher to join our School staff from September 2024. There will also be an opportunity to lead a subject area across the school.

The successful candidate will:

Be passionate about learning and keen to develop professionally.Value and promote student voice within learning experiences.Have recent KS2 experience with excellent subject knowledge.Be committed to a holistic approach to education.Have successful experience of, and a commitment to, enquiry-based learning.Have successful experience adapting lessons to cater for a variety of needs, including higher attainers, SEND and EAL.Understand and embrace the benefits of working collaboratively with colleagues.


Qualifications/Training


Essential

Good honours degree + PGCE (QTS)Excellent standard of written and spoken EnglishSubstantial evidence of continuous professional development


Experience


Essential

Significant relevant teaching experienceExperience of leading a teamExperience of leading change and innovation

Desirable

Experience of developing and implementing a new initiative e.g.curriculum design
