The successful candidate will be a professional communications self-starter who can undertake the following role and has the competencies and skills to fulfil a wide range of communications needs:
The Role
- Able to research, write and produce materials targeted at a variety of different audiences both internal and external.
- Deliver the communications plan, to include, writing press releases, web material, leaflets, newsletters, magazine articles and social media.
- Able, or willing to learn, to produce video content where required. Editing skills useful but not essential.
- Knowledge of working in a political environment would be useful.
Understanding of social media platforms and how to write for them.
Knowledge of working in a political environment is useful.
Experience of answering media enquiries is useful.
Hybrid Working – on average 2 days in the office per week
Full time hours on a temporary basis.
