Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Talent Development and Engagement Business Partner to join our People team. This role is pivotal in shaping the growth and development of our employees, ensuring they have the tools and support to excel in their careers. You will drive the L&D agenda at Visualsoft, focusing on designing and implementing impactful learning programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and supporting the overall professional development of our team members. Experience within a tech-driven environment is highly desirable as you will be working closely with our teams to align development, engagement, and retention initiatives with business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Development:

  • Identify and Address Skill Gaps: Work closely with department heads to identify areas for skill enhancement and create targeted development plans.
  • Design and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and implement tailored learning and development programs that meet the needs of our tech driven business.
  • Create Engaging Training Materials: Design engaging and accessible training materials that cater to a variety of learning styles and levels.
  • Manage Training Delivery: Develop and manage training delivery plans, ensuring smooth execution and effective learning outcomes.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) Management: Oversee the deployment, administration, and continuous improvement of our LMS, ensuring it effectively supports our training objectives.
  • Support Career Growth: Facilitate career development conversations and help employees map out their career paths within the organisation.
  • Coach and Mentor: Provide guidance to managers and team leaders on how to effectively coach and develop their teams.

Talent Retention:

  • Focus on Growth: Collaborate on the implementation of strategies that enhance employee growth and satisfaction, contributing to higher retention rates.
  • Career Progression: Work on succession planning and career development frameworks that encourage long-term career growth within Visualsoft.

Employee Engagement and Wellbeing:

  • Enhance Wellbeing: Collaborate on initiatives that support the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of employees, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
  • Boost Engagement: Lead strategies that drive employee engagement and create a positive work environment where continuous learning is encouraged.

Culture and Values:

  • Champion a Learning Culture: Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organisation, ensuring that our values are integrated into all development initiatives.
  • Cultural Ambassador: Act as a role model for our company culture, supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all training and development efforts.

Reporting:

  • Measure Impact: Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of employee development, engagement and retention initiatives and continuously refine programs and initiatives based on data-driven insights.
  • Share Insights: Regularly report on the progress and outcomes of development, engagement, and retention programs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Talent Development, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development Partner or similar role, preferably within a tech, SaaS, or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of employee development, training, and engagement practices.
  • Takes a solutions focused approach to talent and engagement challenges and develops innovative responses to meet organisational needs.
  • Experience designing and delivering engaging training materials for a range of learners and managing training delivery plans.
  • Experience managing a learning management system (LMS), including deployment and management of learning pathways, content, compliance and reporting.
  • Knowledge and experience of managing apprenticeship programmes
  • Experience of compliance qualifications; Fire, First Aid, etc.
  • Confident in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present to, and engage, audiences.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to demonstrate a can-do approach
  • Shares information clearly and convincingly, ensuring openness and transparency.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Creates a positive and supportive environment for fellow colleagues to grow and reach their full potential.
  • Ideally, qualified to degree level in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or CIPD Learning & Development level 5 qualification
