Our aim is to provide an accurate and customer focused service to our members from joining the scheme to their retirement.

The Pensions Team provides a high-quality administration service to all employees and employers of the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Pension Fund. There are currently over 45,000 members of the Scheme and 42 participating employers.

About the job

The post holder will be required to initially deal with phone calls to the office and emails to the Pensions Mailbox.

The post holder will be required to scan and index incoming mail to member records, deal with initial customer enquiries, process refunds of pension contributions and to provide general clerical assistance to other members of the Pension Team.

Hybrid working will be available once an initial training period has been completed.

What We Are Looking For From You

You don’t have to have experience in Pensions. We are looking for someone with administrative skills who is willing to learn how this can be applied in a Pensions environment. It’s important that you have a strong commitment to customer services.

You will enjoy the challenge of working in a busy team, the ability to work flexibly and be able to prioritise workloads. You will be a clear communicator and be comfortable dealing with high volumes of a variety of different tasks.

You will also demonstrate the capability to use computer systems, including Microsoft applications.

Full training will be given both by the team and external providers.
