With the variety of routes and fleet vehicles to drive, every day is different… and where else can you find an office with a moving view

If you don’t have a license, then our world class Training Academy will support you every step of the way from provisional license to passing your test with our in-house Delegated Examiner.

We are offering a full-time permanent position working 39 hours a week. Shifts are worked over 5 days a week.

Salary

Training hourly rate of £12.50

Qualified hourly rate of £13.82 (Monday to Friday) Increasing to £14.19 from 29th September

Enhanced rates on the weekend of up to £18.01

Overtime rates £15.19 – £20.66 per hour

The role

We are looking for people with the passion and experience of delivering excellent customer service; You will also be required to

Safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.

Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the bus.

Collect fares and issue tickets or receipts as necessary.

Communicate with passengers in a professional and courteous manner.

Follow designated routes and schedules.

What you need

Valid driver's license held for a minimum of 12 months

Have no more than 6 Points

Regular confident driver

Previous experience as a bus driver, delivery driver, or van driver is preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations

Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally

Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong attention to detail
