This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take that next step in their career to become the No. 1 in finance. Here you will work closely with Senior Board Members and Directors of the business and be a key part of decision-making for the finance function.

This person will also be managing a small finance team whom they will mentor and work closely with in delegating tasks to support the business and their multiple sites.

What you will be doing:
Year-end financial accounts, liaising with the external auditorsImplementing and testing accounting controls and proceduresBudgeting and forecasting Preparing and processing payroll (using Sage pay), PAYE and pension contributionsWorking closely with senior board members and directors of the businessPetty cash management and auditPreparing monthly management accountsMentoring junior finance professionals
What skills we are looking for:
Sage and Sage Pay Payroll experience Ability to manage and mentor a small finance teamPart-Qualified or QualifiedExperience performing year-end accounts Experience in preparing all of the management accounts
