Ideally, this role would suit a part-qualified / QBE accountant with a proven track record in sales margin analysis, variance analysis on forecast vs budget and communicating financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Key
Responsibilities:
Conduct sales and margin analysis, identifying variances from forecasts and addressing live issuesAssist in preparing monthly management accounts and inventory review / controlSupport the creation of the annual budget and updates to forecastsPartner with Regional Directors, providing timely and relevant financial insightsForecast supplier and customer rebates, and calculate standards for manufacturing cost recoveriesProduce analysis packs on the performance of business units, regions, and branchesSubmit monthly results and rolling forecasts to Group FP&A
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in management accounting or a similar roleStrong knowledge of accounting standards and financial data analysisProficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Navision, SAP) and advanced Excel skillsExcellent communication skills and a flexible approach to a rapidly changing environment
Remuneration:
Up to £40k - study support available for the right candidate
