Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for a Returns Management Coordinator to join a well established distribution centre in Coventry.

This is a long term role with a starting salary of £13.26 per hour

Hours are Monday to Friday (days 37.5 hours a week)

The Returns Management Coordinator is a key member of the warehousing asset returns team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is based in Coventry, and you will be working closely with stakeholders across the business to manage the return of utility assets to our customers, ensuring stock accuracy.
You will collaborate to ship customers' stock and liaise with both internal and external supply chain teams to add value to all parties involved.

Main duties
  • Creating ASN's,schedule transport bookings, and maintain high levels of stock accuracy.
  • Stock Management
  • Working closely with customers to ship stock and liaise with their supply chain teams, adding value to both parties. This involves coordination with internal stakeholders such as Service Delivery Managers, Account Managers, and the Programme Manager.

Responsibilities and objectives
  • Assess daily exceptions in the forecast plan.
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse Asset Return Team Leader.
  • Monitor asset service level agreements (SLAs) within a 30-day window
  • Identify and address errors and exceptions in stock.
  • Review all deliveries and collections, taking corrective actions for any delivery shortages.
  • Create and maintain reports using Thinventory (WMS), MiSmart, and Excel.
  • Regularly review and update all relevant systems.

Essential criteria for this role:
  • Proven experience in stock control within an FMCG environment.
  • Experience with modern demand planning and forecasting systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI.
  • The role is heavily data based and will involve date crunching and raw data assessments so a strong knowledge of Excel and Formulas will be an advantage
