As a Senior Sales Assistant at our Berghaus Outlet Store in Gloucester Quays, you will play a key role in supporting store operations, driving sales, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will be the main contact for customer interactions, providing every customer with exceptional customer service driven by excellent product knowledge and providing product recommendations based on individual requirements.

About the role:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist in achieving store sales targets and contributing to overall store profitability.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services to offer informed advice to customers.
  • Support the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Supervisors in mentoring junior team members.
  • Assist in managing stock levels, replenishment, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Manage transactions, handle cash, and ensure accurate end-of-day reconciliations.
  • With keyholder responsibilities, you will open and close the store, ensuring security procedures are followed. Handle store keys responsibly and manage store access. About you:

    • Experience in a retail sales role, with some leadership responsibilities.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
    • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
    • Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
    • Flexible in working pattern, including working weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
    • Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software.
