Housekeeping Assistant required for a summer job at a residential activity centre near Bideford in North Devon.
  • Monday to Friday, 08.30-16.30
  • £12 per hour
  • 10 minutesâ drive from Bideford, 20 minutesâ drive from Westward Ho, free parking on site
  • Temporary role for Summer period
About the role
  • Working as part of a team and reporting to a housekeeping manager
  • Cleaning of guest accommodation â vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linen
  • Daily cleaning of toilets, showers and changing areas
  • Keeping all front of house and communal areas are clean and tidy
  • Assist in other departments as required (Catering, Maintenance and Retail)
  • Some manual handling - lifting and pulling - required as part of the role
The right candidate
  • Own transport is essential to reach this location
  • Excellent communication skills, as youâll be working alongside guests, visitors and other employees
  • Previous experience in a similar role like cleaner, housekeeper or hygiene operative
