Job Description:
The Data Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the data infrastructure of our client's organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex data solutions that meet business needs and support strategic objectives. Expertise in MSSQL and PostgreSQL will be critical in ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of the data systems

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, robust, and secure data architectures
Optimize and manage MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases to ensure high performance and availability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models
Implement best practices for data management, including backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making
Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, data flows, and database configurations
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data systems

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Data Architect in your current role
Strong expertise in MSSQL and PostgreSQL database management systems
Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Proficient in data modeling, design, and implementation
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, PostgreSQL Certified Professional)
