Succession Wealth is a leading UK-based Financial Advisory firm with a network of Wealth Planners providing high-quality financial advice to a diverse clientele.

Due to a company-wide initiative focused on enhancing the efficiency and integration of our systems, we are seeking a skilled Data and Systems Architect. This role will be instrumental in supporting the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in making informed architectural decisions and collaborating closely with IT teams and Operational Management to design and implement robust architectures for various systems and platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise-wide data architecture that aligns seamlessly with business objectives and requirements.
  • Create and maintain sophisticated data models to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance across all systems.
  • Design, build, and integrate efficient data pipelines for seamless data movement and transformation within the organization.
  • Select, configure, and implement cutting-edge data management and storage solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes, to meet evolving business needs.
  • Architect and implement IT systems encompassing hardware, software, networks, and security measures to ensure a robust and secure technological infrastructure.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all departments to understand their unique business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data governance strategies to guarantee data quality, compliance, and security across the organization.
  • Document all technical designs, processes, and procedures for clear communication and future reference.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data architecture, systems design, and the development and implementation of robust data models.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and established data governance methodologies.
  • In-depth understanding of data security principles and best practices to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other essential data querying languages for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure components, including hardware, software, and networks, to design and maintain a secure and reliable technological environment.
  • Background gained within the Financial Services industry, ideally in wealth management, demonstrating a strong understanding of the sector's unique requirements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address complex technical challenges effectively.
