Whatyou'll be doing:
Providespecialist knowledge and subject matter expertise in thedevelopment of Submarine systems. Be able to define the systemsarchitecture, components, interfaces, and data to enable thedevelopment and production of the component sub-systems. Understandand articulate the impact of their system of interest on otherareas of the submarineplatform Ensure design provingevidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirementsmanagement tools, and has been endorsed by the appropriate level ofauthority Understand and support theflow-down of requirements to suppliers and acceptance of theirspecific deliverables, ensuring it is captured and recordedappropriately Support the development ofestimates for the scope of work and resources required to deliverit in order to support bids, proposal development and projectplanning activities from a systems engineeringperspective Provide technical support tointegrated performance and acceptance activities, includingacceptance of equipment from suppliers through to system acceptanceby the customer Supportthe documentation of domain knowledge and pass on information andexpertise in order to help grow the knowledge base withinappropriate business teams Provide technical guidanceto other engineers and support the engineering management team inplanning and controlling specialistactivities
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Knowledgeof the Dynamic Object Orientated Requirements System(DOORS) Knowledge of the engineeringlifecycle with experience operating in the phase relevant to therole and awareness of the entire engineeringlifecycle Significant knowledge andexpertise of Systems Engineering processes and practices in thedefence, maritime or closely linked industry and the correctrecognition of the context of their work within the overallproduct

Previousexperience with DXLscripting

TheCombat Systems Architecture team:
The team manages a centralized model and associatedrequirements of the Combat System. In turn, we offer systemsengineering support to reuse both models and requirements acrossmultiple programs. We offer relocation support packages across allSubmarines roles, subject to meeting eligibilitycriteria.
