Position Summary:
Drive implementation and embedment of Global Compliance Program initiatives for all Business Service Centers, to ensure a robust control environment is established and sustained there.
The role will be a member of the Global Business Services (GBS) Internal Controls & Compliance team and will work closely with the local finance operations teams and other partners in support of the companyâs internal controls and execution of programs such as Data Privacy, BCP and Cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Drive implementation of the companyâs compliance program in all Business Service Centers, while ensuring compliance with regulatory rules and deadlines on BCP, Cyber Sec, Data Privacy, Records retention.
- Facilitate the planning, execution and implementation of any change and compliance improvement program activities on behalf of GBS.
- Ensure that adequate awareness raising (regular newsletter communication etc.) /training programs are in place to increase risk and control understanding in operations teams.
- Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement.
- Implement policies, standards, templates / tools and training (the Privacy Toolset) as delivered by Privacy Office
- Nominate and monitor local contacts to participate in information gathering, assessment and remediation efforts required by the Privacy Program. Provide professional support to GBS employees throughout the process.
- Act as coordination point with Privacy Office and bring up issues as the need arises.
- Communicate key privacy issues and remediation activities to GBS leadership and monitor remediation progress till full closure of actions. Â
- Provide regular update to GBS Leadership re status of BCP, Data Privacy Program, Cyber security and Records Retention.
- Ensure that Global Compliance initiatives are reviewed and adequately implemented in case of all GBS related transitions/transformations including system upgrades and Gen AI initiatives too.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- College/University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- Compliance, Law, Data privacy or related experience (at least 3 years)
- At least 2-3 years experience in managing Data Privacy related matters
- Shared service process experience is an advantage
- Must possess a high degree of accuracy in work; detail oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Good analytical, computer (Word and Excel), and organization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines; the ability to work well with all levels of management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated capability to build and maintain good business relationships across all levels in the organization
- Demonstrated capability to effectively support cross-functional/cross locational teams and different cultures
- Ability to travel 10 â 15% as needed
