Salary: £61,110 +

What you will be doing:

  • You will develop and deliver a robust strategy and framework for project management governance, assurance, and capability across all business, national, and international projects
  • You will champion and drive governance and assurance excellence within the FCAS Line of Business
  • You will implement and manage processes and toolsets to achieve exemplary levels of Life Cycle Management across the FCAS Line of Business
  • You will ensure the successful delivery and integration of the FCAS Toolset and Capability insertion plan across all relevant projects
  • You will deliver the FCAS Project Management Functional Business Management System (BMS) to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
  • You will maintain accountability for ensuring the FCAS Line of Business adheres to all corporate governance mandates
  • You will act as the FCAS Line of Business representative in all Air Sector Governance & Assurance forums
  • You will manage and ensure thorough project control audits and corporate audits to maintain high standards of compliance and performance

Your skills and experiences:

  • Strong experience in Project Management Governance & Assurance
  • Operational experience of Project Management & Project Control
  • Stakeholder Management
  • APM Project Management degree would be advantageous
  • Problem solving and creative thinking
  • Communication and influencing skills

The FCAS Governance and assurance team:

We are a growing team providing a project control, governance and assurance service for the FCAS Line of Business - which includes the GCAP Programme which is the future of the Air Sector. The programme is fast paced and exciting, and the team is dynamic and vibrant to reflect the programme environment, focusing on delivering high quality management information in a novel and evolving way. There is opportunity to engage with the MoD, and our partners nationally and internationally, with possibility for travel.
