Job Title: Global Procurement Analyst / Assistant Manager â Fragrances

The successful candidate will have individual responsibility for a selected global category(s) within HPC and business partner nominated geographies. You will need to directly negotiate with your assigned suppliers and deliver all job fundamentals. Additionally the role will support the overall global strategy and team delivery in areas such as relationship management, materials supply, innovation and simplification.

You are expected to be a self-starter, who is enthusiastic and dependable to manage and implement large impact and complex projects across all categories and markets and act as first point of contact for activities that directly fall under your remit. You continuously challenge the status quo, innovate, and drive action. Weâre looking for someone who thinks outside of the box and pushes the boundary â a true change maker.

Responsibilities

  • Co-responsible together with the F&F Team for achieving all the targets. Monitor target delivery (analysis on VIP savings, cash generation, Price-to-Price movement, complexity reduction).

  • Lead and manage global innovation, value improvement and supply stability projects, focusing on allocated categories and clusters, whilst interacting with multiple functional stakeholders

  • Lead a cross-category global work-stream such as quality & service, resilience, specifications etc.

  • Developing and implementing material strategies, ensuring global strategies can be translated to specific market requirements

  • Identify metrics, tools and processes to optimize ways of working. Collaborate both internally with-in team/Unilever and externally with supplier to share best practice analysis. Look out for what is new and coming in the world of digital and pilot in F&F when relevant.

  • Responsibility for managing all reporting of VIP savings, contract management and CLM, forecasting and pricing data management for responsible categories and clusters.

Challenges

  • Support a complex Fragrances portfolio, across multiple markets and categories. Strategic influencing skills are required.

  • Balance conflicting priorities, including savings and supply security projects, negotiations, innovation projects, forecasting processes.

  • A strong analytical ability is required to work with data. Need to be organized and detail oriented.  Clear and accurate in providing information to internal stakeholders and suppliers.

  • Work with Category and Market Procurement on identifying material requirements for global negotiations, analyze annual portfolio spend data.

  • Gather Market Intelligence, research and understand supply market dynamics, conduct benchmarking exercises. Support quarterly material price forecasting process.

Education & Training:

  • BA/BS University Degree

  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Working knowledge of Interspec, SAP, SRS, BPC, CLM.

Work Experience:

This position requires ideally a minimum of 2 years of experience in any of the following areas:  Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D
