Your Purpose

 

As our Applications manager, you will be responsible for the internal and 3rd Party delivered IT application support services across our EMEA APAC business. These can range from SAP to Non-SAP related business applications. This is an important role in the IT Service Operations organization responsible for ensuring IT applications services delivered by various 3rd parties to one or more Molson Coors Business Units are both efficient & effective. 
 
You will need to work closely with key regional IT and business stakeholders to understand their application support needs & activities as well as communication on critical application issues. 
 
IT services are delivered through multiple outsourced service providers and the expectation is that you will work closely them. These IT services support critical business operations and directly affect make-ship-sell beer processes, as such this role has significant responsibility in ensuring the services delivered from those outsourced providers operate without issue. 

You’ll help work with the in-country service managers to manage any issues related to applications.   

This is a remote working role, and could be based in the UK, Ireland, Romania, Croatia or Czech Republic.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for managing relationships with third parties to ensure the effective running of IT applications in a Business Unit, ensuring consistent adherence to and proper execution of agreed policies and procedures by all parties.   
  • Oversees activities associated with the monitoring & patching across the estate. 
  • Coordinating any service delivery application outages, incidents and ensuring proactive plans are in place to identify and fix root cause analysis findings, following agreed change control and release management processes.  
  • Escalation point for IT service delivery concerns from the business and IT management for a Business Unit.  
  • Shared responsibility for the process of management, monitoring and prioritizing Business Unit application enhancement requests. Works closely with project teams, application and service transition management to ensure that new services, applications, projects brought into the production environment are supportable and do not adversely impact the Business Unit's critical core processes and systems.  

 

About You:

 

  • Manager level experience in application development and technical delivery skills.
  • Extensive experience managing outside service providers.
  • Understanding of solution delivery processes with knowledge of the solution development life-cycle and typical problems associated with the implementation of information technology solutions.  
  • Experience in a large, matrix organisation.
  • Ability to communicates persuasively and effectively.
