About the Crown Prosecution Service

At the Crown Prosecution Service, we’re responsible for the independent and effective prosecution of crime across England and Wales. Our work is supported by over 7,000 colleagues who think objectively, act professionally, show the upmost respect for others and continually strive for excellence.  

We’ve recently launched our victim transformation programme, a key priority that focuses on improving victim’s experience during the criminal justice process. We aim to offer more transparency about our role, enhanced communication, and dedicated research to continuously improve our service.

About the role

As senior victim services manager, you deliver high-level leadership to support our victim transformation programme. You develop and oversee improvements to systems, procedures and resource management to help us work efficiently. You monitor your team’s performance, including the quality of communication with victims. You work with partner agencies to identify best practice, implementing changes to improve our service towards victims. Playing a key role to represent the CPS externally, building confidence in what we do and our service to victims.

About you

Your work ensures that we deliver a high-quality service and maintain victims’ confidence in the justice process. Your experience of building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders helps to develop our policies and increase engagement. It’s essential that you have experience leading a team of staff to implement operational improvements. You must be 18 or over to apply.
